After 2 days of tough battles, hopes, joy, but also sometimes sadness, we have all our qualifiers for the main draw. Congratulations to our 16 players qualified in the main draw (8 boys & 8 girls).
GIRLS:
- Hephzibah OLUWADARE (GBR)
The runner-up of the last Tennis Europe tournament Category 1 in Bolton was exempted from 1st round. She won her 2nd round in 2 sets pretty easily. In the last round, she had to play 3 sets to get her spot in the main draw.
- Josy DAEMS (GER)
After a tough 1st round fight in 3 sets, Josy won her last 2 rounds easily to get her ticket for the main draw.
- Vlada KOZAK (GBR)
After having been exempted from 1st round, Vlada Kozak didn’t lose any set to reach the main draw.
- Mirra ANDREEVA (RUS)
The winner of the last Orange Bowl U12 in Florida was exempted from 1st and didn’t win any set to access the main draw.
- Ksenija RAGE (LAT)
She was exempted from 1st round. After a tough 2nd round, she qualified for the main draw after her opponent withdrew in the 2nd set.
- Eva Maria IONESCU (LAT)
Exempted from 1st round, she won in 2 sets pretty tight in 2nd round and had to play 3 sets in the last round to qualify for the main draw.
- Sophya DEVAS (GBR)
The seeded British didn’t drop any set during her 2 matches to get her spot in the main draw, after having beaten one of our last USA Playoffs Lacoste contender, Mia Slama.
- Chiara JEROLIMOV (CRO)
The non-seeded Croatian made a good run through the Qualifications draw, as she beats 2 seeded players and won booked her place in the main draw.
BOYS:
- Gur TRAKHTENBERG (ISR)
After 2 first rounds won easily – losing only 4 games – he has eliminated the 1st seed of the draw in 3 tight sets in the last round.
- Andreas TIMINI (CYP)
Exempted from 1st round, he won in 3 tight sets his 2nd round against Benjamin Gusic Wan – “Petits Crocos” member – before to eliminate Stirbu in the last round.
- Nikolai BARSUKOV (GER)
After 2 rounds won in 3 tough sets, he has eliminated the seeded Russian – Artur Aiukhanov – to book his spot in the main draw.
- Krystof SVOJGR (CZE)
The seeded Czech lost only 7 games in 2 rounds to get his ticket for the main draw.
- Luis GARCIA PAEZ (ESP)
Exempted from 1st round and winner easily of his 2nd match, Luis had to fight 3 sets to reach the main draw on his last round match.
- Karl NAGEL-HEYER (GER)
After a good 1st round, Karl had to fight a lot in his 2 last round matches to reach the main draw.
- Kostiantin MANTACH (UKR)
Exempted from 1st round, the Ukrainian had to fight hard in his 2 matches to book his place in the main draw.
Special mention to Hugo DE GRANDE (FRA) who qualified in the main draw after having gone through the National and the International Qualifications draws. Congratulations to him and good luck for his 1st round.
